I found my notebook! It was in the last place that I looked.

Also, this is my first 909 comic done with my new USB drawing tablet. It's a SlimTablet, which seems to be an unknown brand. It was only like $80 new on Ebay, so I gave it a shot. It will take some getting used to, but it certainly is easier to draw with than a mouse.

I'm really liking the concept. My only big complaint so far is that the damn thing blotches. When I'm drawing with actual ink, I expect a blotch now and then. When using digital ink, it's just damn annoying. I can't figure out what triggers it but it blotches most often when doing fine strokes. Something in the pen glitches and seems to send a split-second full-pressure signal out of nowhere. I'm assuming this is what the more expensive pads don't do. Until I can upgrade, I'll just have to keep one hand on undo button.
